Peninsula High School's Danielle O'Leary Named 'Outstanding Teacher'

The English teacher at Peninsula High School was one of five instructors named Outstanding Teacher on Thursday, according to the Peninsula School District website.

While Friday officially wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week, Peninsula High School’s Danielle O'Leary now has one more reason to celebrate.

The English teacher at the high school was named Outstanding Teacher on Thursday, according to the Peninsula School District website.

In fact, she received the exciting news over the phone from U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
