Boston Marathon: Local Runner Results

Here are the results from the race on Monday.

Seven residents from Gig Harbor and Fox Island ran in the steamy Boston Marathon Monday morning.

With temperatures reaching almost 90 degrees, a total of 22,426 people participated in this year's 26.2-mile footrace.

From the Gig Harbor area, Route 16 Running & Walking's Miguel Galeana finished in 3:10:49 and placed 1,071th overall.
