Boys Lacrosse: Gig Harbor Cruises Past Redmond

Gig Harbor opened with seven unanswered goals in the first and added five more in the second for a 16-1 win on Tuesday.

GIG HARBOR - Cory Marchand scored four goals as Gig Harbor’s Harbor Fire high school boys lacrosse team powered to its fifth win of the spring with a 16-1 win over Redmond, Tuesday at Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor.

Gig Harbor opened with seven unanswered goals in the first and added five more in the second before cruising to the win.

Redmond’s lone goal came on a Liam Watkins score in the second.

Gig Harbor (5-1-0) next faces Liberty (2-4-0), Friday, April 5 in a 7:30 p.m. start at Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor.  Redmond (1-6-0) next faces Roosevelt (3-2-0), Friday, April 5 in a 7 p.m. start at Lower Woodland Park playfield in Seattle.
