Golferitaville, A Charity Golf Tournament

Golferitaville, THE charity tournament of the year, offers great golf, lots of prizes and of course, a few margaritas along the way. In its 7th year, the July 22nd tournament held at McCormick Woods Golf Course, Β is organized by the Gig Harbor Midday Rotary club. The four-person scramble kicks off with early check in at 10 am and a chance to win a large flat screen television on the putting green. Golfers will follow the pink flamingoes to the CheeseBurger in Paradise lunch (sponsored by Peninsula Subaru) with entertainment by Calypso Ken. All registrants receive a commemorative hat, sponsored by Harrison Medical Center, tickets to an upcoming Rainiers Game, and chances to win amazing prizes: a new car, $10,000 cash, a trip to Whistler BC, Tommy Bahama patio accessories and much more. Featured on the course are activities, drinks and games on every tee with more chances to win prizes. Inspired by Jimmy Buffett and Key West style, golfers will see pink flamingoes along the course and are encouraged to wear tropical attire. The day concludes with a tropical Jimmy Buffett "Buffay" and awards ceremony. Registration is $125 pp/$500 per team in advance and $150 day of.
