Service Camp

Service Camp will give youth a chance to make a difference in our local community, our country, and the world! We will begin the week with a day of team-building, and gain skills in communication and problem solving.

Once we are a strong service team, we will begin completing projects to benefit others. We will build and construct birdhouses and distribute to local residents and our parks, design signs and other art for our parks, and complete a project for Habitat for Humanity. Campers will learn the value and the FUN in serving others.

Jessica Smeall is the Recreation Coordinator for Key Pen Parks and has been teaching sports, gymnastics, art, teambuilding, leadership, and music to children for over 15 years. Volunteerism is at the heart of all programs! She will be assisted in the construction phase of projects by Key Pen Parks’ amazing maintenance staff.
