Soccer Splash in Gig Harbor With US Womens Soccer Player Stephanie Cox

Come out to Gig Harbor’s waterfront Skansie Brothers Park for a fun, free, family event with .

Stephanie, who plays for the Boston Breakers and played on this summer’s exciting World Cup team for the United States, makes her home in Gig Harbor.  In cooperation with the City of Gig Harbor, Stephanie will be available on Oct. 15 to meet with kids and families.
 
The public is invited to Skansie Brothers Park from 1:30-3:30pm.  Stephanie will talk about her experience and soccer background, sign autographs and then kick the ball around with the kids until 3 p.m. 

At 3 p.m. Stephanie will be recognized by the City of Gig Harbor and Mayor Chuck Hunter. Kids should bring a soccer ball, shirt or other item for an autograph.

This event is free and open to the public.
