Girls Lacrosse: Bundick's Four Goals Lead Gig Harbor Past Evergreen

Midfielder Lauren Dahl also added three goals and 1 ground ball in the team's fifth victory of the season.

GIG HARBOR - Emily Bundick scored four goals as the Gig Harbor varsity girls lacrosse team defeated Evergreen Lacrosse Club, 16-11, Tuesday at Sehmel Homestead Park in Gig Harbor.

Bundick also recorded two ground balls on defense for Gig Harbor. Midfielder Lauren Dahl added three goals and 1 ground ball of her own in the team’s fifth victory of the season.

Emily McCoy and Madeline McKinnon led Evergreen in scoring with four goals apiece in Tuesday’s matchup. Goalkeeper Dawn Lumen recorded a game-high 16 saves.

Evergreen (2-2-1) next faces Puyallup (4-3-0) in a 2 p.m. matchup, Saturday, April 13 at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver, Wash.

Gig Harbor (5-2-0) next faces Tahoma (2-3-1) in a 7 p.m. matchup, Tuesday, April 23 at Tahoma High School in Covington.
