Where and When to Watch the Super Bowl in Gig Harbor?

The brothers Harbaugh -- coaches of the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens -- square off at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, withe the game on CBS, channel 7.

The SuperBro Bowl kicks off at 3:30 p.m. PST Sunday -- for the first time ever the two coaches are brothers, of course -- and you can bet (odds favor San Francisco over Baltimore by 4) that a lot of televisions will be tuned to CBS, Channel 7 hereabouts.

But you want to share the rah-rah, bend your elbow with your favorite on-tap ale and maybe see the brothers Harbaugh (John is head coach of the Ravens and Jim of the 49ers) duke it out on a big screen? There are plenty of spots in Gig Harbor to do just that.

Here are some ideas:

Tides Tavern: It will be having Happy Hour during the game.

Moctezumas Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar: The bar will be serving Happy Hour all day.

Hy-Iu-Hee-Hee: It will be having Happy Hour and prize giveaways during the game.

The Floatation Device: It will be having Happy Hour and prize giveaways, including an autographed football jersey, during the game.

Halftime Sports Saloon: It will be serving chili on hot dogs and hamburgers. Football burgers and hot dogs will also be available.

Ugh. That's not good, Starla. How many times a week do you and husband cross, or at least try toRead More cross that crosswalk.

I have seen orange flags (like the kind you use on the boat with a water skier) used at crosswalksRead More in Redmond. Perhaps putting a PVC pipe in the ground on either side of the road or attached to the nearby sign posts with a few flags inside for you to hold out/carry to the other side when you're crossing would be helpful?

Brent, we cross it about at least once a week.
