Free Summer Lunch Program Available at Key Peninsula Civic Center

All kids and teens up to 18 years old can receive a free lunch at various parks and locations across Pierce County this summer.

The Washington State Summer Food Service Program, or Summer Meals, provides free meals and snacks to children and teens during the summer months.

All children and teens (18 years old and younger) are eligible for the program. No proof of income, address or citizenship is ever required.

Free lunches are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Key Peninsula Civic Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program, sponsored by the Peninsula Community Foundation, is available through Aug. 16.
