In anticipation of a large attendance for the Perry Acker concert on Tuesday, the City of Gig Harbor will be closing Harborview Drive between Pioneer and Rosedale from 5 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 28.
The city is celebrating its tenth anniversary season of at Skansie outdoor concert series.
Once again this year attendance has continued to break records as visitors and locals have enjoyed the series, which was voted Gig Harbor’s Most Popular Summer Event, according to the marketing director Laureen Lund.
Traffic will be redirected during this street closure.
