Gig Harbor went all out for National Night Out on Tuesday.
Thousands of people stopped by for the community event, which featured free food, music and activities for local families.
Local law enforcement and first responders and local military groups, had displays and demonstrations throughout the night.
“It’s about developing relationships with the community that you police,” said Gig Harbor Police Chief Mike Davis. “Police agencies, their success is measured on how well they interact with their community, and I think we’re doing a pretty good job here.”
