The City of Gig Harbor teamed up with Gig Harbor Rotary Club, Pierce County Parks & Recreation and Tacoma Power for the construction of Cushman Trail. The phase 1 of the paved asphalt trail stretches 2.5 miles from Kimball Drive Park to 14th Ave NW. Phase 2 extends another 2.5 miles from Stinson Ave to Grandview St. The trail is 16 feet wide with 4-foot gravel shoulders. Bicyclists and dog owners also use the trail.
