If you ask any native Gig Harbor resident how long Finholm's Market & Grocery has been around for they will say, "Forever." Located in historic downtown and right across from the harbor, Finholm's offers a good variety of convenience store finds. Chips, soda, ice cream and lottery tickets are just some staples this store has to offer. An ATM and copy machine are available for your use. Stop in for a coffee and newspaper on your next walk through downtown.

Finholm's used to be a Gig Harbor staple, but unfortunately, Finholm's has really gone downhill under the Na family's ownership.
There's a shelf for expired items.... in the middle of the store! There are broken coolers, a soft serve & slushie machine which have been sitting in the store for ages. I've bought milk from there a few times only to find that it's spoiled half of the time even though it's not even past its sell-by date. I've been advised by more than a few people that the sandwiches are stale and gross. I've been told by employees that the hygiene standards are nonexistant; for example, a rag that is used to wipe the cutting board on which the pizza is cut is never sanitized & washed maybe once a week, and none of the dishes or other surfaces are sanitized.
The owners are very rude and extremely greedy! They sell those little Sutter Home wine bottles that are ordinarily found in 4-packs individually at twice their value, and they have used VHS tapes (from when Finholm's rented out movies) on sale for $15.99! Keep dreaming.
The only other grocery store in the harbor closed, and most of the locals have taken all their business to the other grocery stores in town because they know that Finholm's worthless. Please do not give these people your money. I support small businesses, but not all small businesses deserve support. This is one that deserves to fail!
