Gig Harbor Film Festival

The Gig Harbor Film Festival inaugural event was held in September 2008. The festival features independent films that draw on the unifying power of cinema to promote understanding, tolerance and global awareness. The festival's goal is to include local, regional and international filmmakers to advance a variety of creative ideas and bring the community a diverse range of appealing films, giving filmmakers an opportunity to present their efforts to a sophisticated audience and gain recognition beyond the local level.
