Located on Key Peninsula Highway, Key Peninsula Middle School is home to more than 450 students in the peninsula. The building underwent several construction projects since it was originally built in 1981. In addition to its 22 classrooms, there are six portable classrooms, two computer labs and two athletic fields. Sixth through eighth graders can participate in sports including basketball, soccer and track. With free bus transportation, Key Peninsula offers several clubs for students to join. After-school programs are also available. Jeri Goebel is the school principal.
