Minter Creek Hatchery

Flag as Inappropriate

Minter Creek Hatchery is one of the hatcheries that the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife operates. It is located off Creviston Drive in the northern Key Peninsula. Before the workers at the facility release the fish into the wild, they mark the salmon by clipping their fins. By doing so, it helps the state keep track  of the population and protect the wild endangered species.
