With more than 1,300 students on campus, Peninsula High School is one of the three high schools in the Peninsula School District. The principal, Tim Winter, has an online blog where he posts news and announcements. The students have a unique schedule where they meet their teachers for all six classes on Mondays and Friday. On the other three days, the students have four longer hours of class. An average class size is about 30 students in each classroom. With more than half of the students at the school participating in extracurricular activities, Peninsula High School has more than 20 different options for sports programs. The Peninsula Seahawks are proud to have won individual state championships in wrestling and track. It also has more than 20 organizations for students to join.
