Purdy Elementary School is one of the eight elementary schools in the Peninsula School District. It is located by Peninsula High School and Peninsula School District Main Office. In 2009, The Center of Educational Effectiveness named PES as one of the state's highest improving schools in reading and mathematics. Principal Jim Rudsit oversees close to 600 students on campus.
