I think it's great Kilmer took his love of "Star Wars" all the way to Washington D.C. If…Read More he dons a Chewbacca costume during his next speech on the house floor, then he's officially taken this Star Wars thing to the next level.

Love, love .love artist Ray Troll. I saw his work at the Burke museum in Seattle about 15 years ago.…Read More He is an amazing artist, and we are so lucky to have his work coming to the Harbor. His artwork such as "There is no free lunch" painting about the food chain is humorous and beautiful at the same time.

I read Les Miserables when I was in junior high... I'm not sure I fully understood everything about…Read More the book back then, but I fell in love with the story regardless. It's a great read!

As a library patron, I did send my post-cards in to publishers to support the libraries position on…Read More getting e-books at a reasonable cost. However, when an actual book is purchased, no doubt in larger quanties at a discount, at some point it will have to be replaced. But not so with e-books -- once on line, they could be downloaded a zillion times.
Publishers and writers have to stay in business to publish and write. So I can understand why publishers do want some restrictions on how many times the book can be downloaded. I hope a compromise can be reached that is fair to both sides.
Goodman Music Fest Scheduled For June 8
