As one of the four middle schools in the Peninsula School District, more than 600 students attend. Students at Kopachuck Middle School have a diverse variety of elective courses, including music, technology and Spanish. The Kopachuck Coyotes also excel in athletics, such as basketball, volleyball, track, soccer and wrestling. Among the 41 members of the staff, 20 of them have their master's degree, while two have their doctorate. Iva Scott is the principal.
