With a rich history of more than five decades, Harbor Heights Elementary School is one of the eight elementary…More schools in the Peninsula School District. When it first opened in 1953, most of its student body were from Croatian fishing families and Scandinavian farming families. The campus used today was built in 1990-91. It is located next to Goodman Middle School. It features 20 classrooms, a gym, computer lab and a stage. With more than 1,300 students on campus, Peninsula High School is one of the three high schools in the Peninsula School…More District. The principal, Tim Winter, has an online <a href="http://blogs.psd401.net/phsprincipal/">blog</a> where he posts news and announcements. The students have a unique schedule where they meet their teachers for all six classes on Mondays and Friday. On the other three days, the students have four longer hours of class. An average class size is about 30 students in each classroom. With more than half of the students at the school participating in extracurricular activities, Peninsula High School has more than 20 different options for sports programs. The Peninsula Seahawks are proud to have won individual state championships in wrestling and track. It also has more than 20 organizations for students to join.
