The Kenneth…More Leo Marvin Veterans Memorial Park was named after a local Marine who served in World War II. Marvin served almost four years in a prisoner-of-war camp in Japan before returning to Gig Harbor to raise a family. The granite statue, Veterans Monument, honors servicemen and women who have served in WWI and WWII. The facility has a baseball and a soccer field with bleachers. The KLM Park also has a bike rack, drinking fountain, a playground and trails.
