Harborview Street-End offers amazing views of the mouth of the harbor and Puget Sound. One can easily see Point Defiance…More and Vashon Island from here, even on foggy days. The parking lot is small and so is the viewing area, but the view makes up for everything. On a clear day, one should be able to view Mount Rainier. There are three small picnic tables, a bench, trash receptacle, interactive educational signs and an animal cleanup station. The park is considered handicap-accessible but the steep parking lot and sloped viewing area could make it tough to manage. There is a small trail leading down to the water, but it is on private property (No Trespassing signs are visible).
