Edie Jeffers, Neighbor

I am a freelance writer and public relations professional who's been based out of Gig Harbor for the past 13 years. I've enjoyed writing for many different business sectors over the years--for-profit, non-profit, education and government.

It's a kick to have the opportunity to write about what's happening right here in my town. From news briefs about local organizations to pieces that focus on the unique things that people in Gig Harbor are up to, I am looking forward to telling the stories of this fantastic community.

A little more about me...I am married to Martin, a fantastic chef, and we have a daughter, Alison, who is a TCC Running Start student, competitive figure skater and Gig Harbor CrossFitter. I also enjoy working out at CrossFit, and this has led to better eating, which means I have had to get better at cooking. I am still no match for Chef Martin, however.

We are a two-cat family.
