The Alliance of Women Owned Businesses (AWOB) is excited to announce that on Wednesday, June 12th, one of its founding members will be sharing expert business coaching tips at its monthly Power Series meeting.
Lisa Markman, owner of Jigsaw Solutions, Coaching and Consulting, will present “Get Out of the Elevator: Ditch the Pitch and Connect Authentically.” Held at the Inn at Gig Harbor, the event runs from 5 – 8pm and will be an exciting sneak peek at first time author, certified coach and business consultant Lisa Markman’s upcoming book and fall workshop about ditching the elevator pitch.
Hear why the traditional elevator speech may not be serving you. Reconsider the 30 second rule. Let go of your fears of finding the perfect thing to say. Learn practical tips on how to quickly and authentically connect with anyone. Effectively offer what you do to the people who need you.
Jigsaw Solutions provides services to businesses, non-profits, professionals and people to help create visions and find solutions that fit in order to reach their goals. Offering solutions for 17 years in over 30 states and countries, Lisa Markman is AWOB’s President and a Founding AWOB Board Member.
AWOB Meet Me After Hours, a no-host dinner opportunity, follows this meeting in the restaurant at the Inn at Gig Harbor – offering time for attendees to converse and continue networking in a casual one-to-one setting.

AWOB is a non-profit membership organization founded in 2010 by a group of women business owners who had a vision of creating a community of learning and support for their peers. Started with a handful of supporters, a committed task force, and entrepreneurial spirit, AWOB serves Pierce, Kitsap and Mason counties.
This event is FREE to AWOB members and first time guests – the fee for all others is $25, payable at the door. Join AWOB and attend all of the events free! You can sign up at this meeting.
