A Thank You To The Law Enforcement Officers And Medics

 Yesterday was my birthday, and it was celebrated like none other. Due to recent events, I was in need of our Sheriff and Medics services. I cannot tell you how kind, caring and helpful every officer and both medics were. The circumstances could not have been more stressful and I was truly frightened, even as they were securing my residence to ensure that both myself and my home held no threat, they were wonderful. I have emphysema, and was mortified to be struck by a breathing issue in the middle of my driveway surrounded by Police Officer's, unable to catch my breath or answer their questions. They walked me back into my home, made me comfortable, made sure I got my medication and stayed with me until the medics came. The medics were wonderful. I cannot express in words the amount of respect and gratitude I feel for these men and what they do. Humbly again I say, Thank you. This is going to be a long journey and when the time is right, I will share it here, until then, know if you ever need them, these wonderful civil servants will be there for you as they were for me and my family.
