Not too many people who live in Gig Harbor know about a really neat park that is at the very end of Harborview Drive. It's where the old ferry landing used to be. Before old galloping Gertie was built, people would take ferries from Tacoma to Gig Harbor. Pretty neat history right there. The little park is cute. It has a few benches, even a water fountain and some planters. The view of Rainier is wonderful when it's not cloudy. I plan to go back again!
