This is beyond ridiculous! They are unfairly taking advantage of those of us who have to crossRead More daily. Just because we live in the harbor doesn't mean we are rich. Some of us live here so our kids can get a half way decent education. This state is getting more and more meassed up.

Ugh ugh ugh and oh did I say........ugh? Don't you love that warm and fuzzy feeling of not beingRead More able to do anything about it? Nice isn't it?

Bruce is right. This toll is an economic barrier to those of lesser means. Furthermore, it willRead More financially harm small businesses that must use the bridge frequently throughout the day. Now I only cross the bridge about twice per year.

Robin, initially, in environmental documentation prior to construction of the bridge, bridge tollsRead More were planned to rise to a steady $6.00 for all tollpayers after the first three years of operation. This $6 toll was just to pay the debt and keep the bridge working. In other words, it's fortunate those of us with Good to Go passes aren't paying $6.00. Walmart reputedly has paid it's employees inequitably, destroys competitive small business in the communities in which operates, and strives to overcome community preferences to do whatever it wants. While that does sound somewhat like the State, I think the State is trying to be responsible in this instance.
