Construction of Corporate 'Saturn' Hangar Begins at Tacoma Narrows Airport
Pierce County began construction on the hangar between the Tacoma Narrows Flight Center and Quad Hangars on July 16.
A new corporate hangar is under construction at the Tacoma Narrows Airport.
Construction of the hangar between the Tacoma Narrows Flight Center and the Quad Hangars began July 16.
According to Pierce County, a construction fence is now installed to mark and protect the construction site. The existing taxilane stripe around the north and east sides of the hangar construction site will be removed. A new stripe will be installed that will provided a minimum of 45 feet clearance from stripe centerline to the existing hangars on one side and the construction fence on the other.
The county asks airport users to "exercise extreme caution until the new stripe is installed."
