Crews To Close Three Narrows Bridge Lanes Late Wednesday, Thursday
The work will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., both nights. Drivers should expect delays.
At 9 p.m. on both Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday, June 13, crews will close the three left eastbound State Route 16 lanes across the 2007 Tacoma Narrows Bridge. They will also close the 24th Street on-ramp to eastbound SR 16.
All lanes and the ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. each following morning.
The triple-lane closure will reduce eastbound SR 16 traffic to one lane across the bridge. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

During the closures, crews will repair various pavement segments in the eastbound lanes. The pavement repairs fall under the Tacoma Narrows Bridge pavement warranty and will be performed by design-builder Tacoma Narrows Constructors.
