The annual fireworks lit the night skies around Gig Harbor.

Hundreds of people flocked to the Purdy Spit and surrounding areas of Henderson Bay to light off fireworks and watch the ninth annual fireworks display.

Others enjoyed their own fireworks displays throughout the weekend.
