Fox Island Bridge Reportedly On 'Structurally Deficient' List

The News Tribune is reporting that Pierce County added the nearly 60-year-old span to it list, although there are no immediate plans to fix it.

The bridge that Fox Island residents use to get home officially needs to be replaced.

The News Tribune's Steve Maynard is reporting that that nearly 60-year-old span is on Pierce County's list of bridges that need a major fix. In this particular bridge's case, it needs $50 million to $60 million in fixes.

Only problem, there is no immediate plan to fix the bridge.
