Help Name Gig Harbor’s New Off-Leash Dog Area

PenMet Parks is seeking public input on the naming its area on Bujacich Road.

PenMet Parks is asking Gig Harbor residents to help come up with a name for its new off-leash dog area.

The fenced park is located at 10100 Bujacich Rd. NW by the Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One headquarters lot. (See PDF for more information.)

Community input must be submitted by PenMet Parks’ next Board meeting on May 6, 2013.

Gig Harbor’s canine advocate program, Canine Health Education & Welfare (CHEW), will be working with PenMet Parks to maintain and enhance the Bujacich Off Leash Dog Area.

The organization is also asking volunteers to organize and participate in trail maintenance work parties, oversee the bulletin board/kiosk, keep it dog owners updated with events and educational programs.
