Job Alert: Fitness Instructor With Pierce County Parks and Recreation

The fitness instructor will be expected to format monthly lesson plans utilizing both indoor and outdoor facility amenities.

Pierce County Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for the position of a part-time fitness instructor to lead fitness classes at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place.

The Fitness Instructor is a highly motivated person with outstanding interpersonal skills and enthusiasm who will design a boot camp or HIIT style of workout in a safe, effective, and well-balanced format appropriate for all abilities and levels.

The fitness instructor will be expected to format monthly lesson plans utilizing both indoor and outdoor facility amenities.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, CPR/First Aid certified, and a certified personal trainer. This position pays $18-23 per hour, up to 30 hours per month.

Applications are available at the Parks Administrative Office, 9112 Lakewood Dr. S.W. in Lakewood or the Environmental Services Building, 9850 – 64th St. W. in University Place, or by contacting Pierce County Parks at (253) 798-4141.
