A Chance To Vote For A Star

The auditions are over and ten talent loaded acts are ready to compete in the third annual Star Search, presented by the Gig Harbor Kiwanis Club.

The show is set for Saturday, April 16, at the Gig Harbor Yacht Club. All ten acts will perform, with the top three selected by a team of judges. Those three will perform again and the winning “STAR” will be named by a vote of the audience, based on appeal and entertainment strength.  Vocalists and instrumentalists will be displaying their talents and hoping for your vote.

“Attending the auditions I have been continually amazed by the talent that resides here in our community.” said Susan Hendrix, of the Star Search Committee, “These people could compete anywhere and come through as winners. We are very lucky to have them in our show.”

Yacht Club doors will open at 5:30 P.M. with the show beginning promptly at 7:00. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a “no host” bar will be available. A raffle will be held during the evening and other activities are planned.
