The Chapel Ringers of Chapel Hill Church are celebrating their 30th anniversary of handbells at Chapel Hill on May 22nd at 3 p.m. The "Berries & Bells" concert takes place in the sanctuary at Chapel Hill and is followed with a strawberry shortcake dessert!
The Chapel Ringers have played with the Tacoma Symphony, Adelphian Singers (UPS), the Northwest Repertory Singers and recently with the South Sound Strings Harp Ensemble at Kilworth chapel at UPS. The concert will have a great mix of both religious and secular music with an emphasis on music written specifically for handbells. A second handbell group at Chapel Hill, the Allegro Ringers, will also participate. They are composed of middle and high school students and play a variety of entertaining music.
