CinemaGig Under the Stars

The City of Gig Harbor, along with its sponsor MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park once again present CinemaGig Outdoors movie nights in Gig Harbor beginning July 8th.

Once again this year, guests are invited to enjoy this free series of movies that include Friday night “date-night” films at Donkey Creek Park and Saturday night “family-night” films at Skansie Brothers Park every other weekend.  Thanks to the generous sponsorship of MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park this event is free to the public.

Additional activities include free popcorn, water and soda courtesy of the Gig Harbor Kiwanis Club and Kitsap Bank.  Gig Harbor’s Harbor WildWatch group (www.harborwildwatch.org) will be on hand to share their “Pier Into the Night” program and representatives from the Gig Harbor Film Festival (www.gigharborfilmfestival.org) will also be on hand to share information each weekend about the Film Festival in October.

Guests are encouraged to bring low chairs and blankets.  The movies cannot be shown in inclement weather.  Movie start times vary through the summer, depending on when it gets dark.

• “Oceans” Disney’s amazing family documentary. This night will feature a special presentation by Harbor WildWatch as we salute our oceans.
