Wines for Your BBQ, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah Tasting at Morso

There is something special about grilling, smoking, or barbecuing meat. With your BBQ, whether your style is North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas City, Texas or just a family recipe, great zinfandels and petite sirah are amazing partners. These wines work like a spice, helping to enhance the flavors whether it is the catsup, pepper and brown sugar of KC or the honey, mustard and vinegar-style of NC.

We will have great examples of the diversity of wines to sample with KC style BBQ pork baby back ribs from classic producers and areas including Steele (Mendicino), Robert Biale  (Napa), Foppiano (Russian River), Dashe (Dry Creek), and Klinkerbrick (Lodi).
