Cash Mob Takes Over Wild Birds Unlimited

Gig Harbor's first cash mob drew dozens of shoppers to Wild Birds Unlimited on Wednesday.

The (GHHWA) organized the event to promote local businesses in downtown Gig Harbor.

According to GHHWA Special Projects Coordinator Josh Sherwin, shoppers took advantage of sales and discounts at the store, which has been part of the historic downtown for nearly 20 years.

The event wrapped up with an “aftermob” celebration at , where the restaurant offered special deals from its menu.

Sherwin said the GHHWA plans to have another Cash Mob event sometime in September and October.
