Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association Announces "Deck the Harbor" Contest Winners

Don't forget to stop in at your favorite merchant's display through Dec. 24 to vote for the People's Choice award.

Twenty waterfront businesses participated in the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association’s second annual “Deck the Harbor” storefront decorating contest as a part of the yearly “Candlelight Christmas in the Harbor” event.

The “Deck the Harbor” panel of judges: Mary DesMarais, Josh Sherwin and Sharon Stearnes, were delighted to see so many wonderfully decorated windows and enjoyed the spirit and enthusiasm shared by the participating businesses.

“Creativity abounds in the waterfront district,” said committee chair Josh Sherwin. “There was such a wide variety of wonderful entries that the judges felt they had to add additional categories to honor all the hard work.”
