Gig Harbor Rotaries Recognize 'Star' Citizens

Gig Harbor's three rotary clubs honored three local "star" citizen from the Gig Harbor Peninsula last weekend. The ceremony on Friday was part of the third annual Star of the Year Award at the Canterwood Golf and Country Club.

Here were the winners for this year's Star Awards:

  • Citizen of the Year, Rotary Club of Gig Harbor: Edie Morgan
  • Business Person of the Year, Rotary Club of Gig Harbor Midday: Patricia Schmidt
  • Service Above Self, Rotary Club of Gig Harbor North: Kevin Entze
