Sophie's Touch really does have that Special Touch!

A Dose of Vitamin D, CHEW Rescue Dogs & Happy Hounds visiting the Harbor...

CHEW recently had an Adoption Day at Sophie's Touch in Gig Harbor.  Sophie's Touch is very supportive of our organization.  They sponsor an Adoption Day for CHEW the first Sunday of each month.  They have also donated various products such as crate pads, harnesses, dog food, etc.  In addition to the above, they have matched a $500 grant based on local donations to CHEW!  AWESOME!  We love Sophie's!  If you haven't stopped by their store, check it out.  Every time I walk Rocky in the Harbor, he expects to stop there for a cookie!

Last Sunday at our adoption event it was a beautiful day and we met lots of wonderful dogs and their peeps! Can't wait for Harbor Hounds...Look for the CHEW booth at Skansie Park on Sept. 15th from 9 AM to 3 PM.  Stop by and meet some of the CHEW Crew!  We'd love to share information about CHEW Dog Rescue!

Ugh. That's not good, Starla. How many times a week do you and husband cross, or at least try toRead More cross that crosswalk.

I have seen orange flags (like the kind you use on the boat with a water skier) used at crosswalksRead More in Redmond. Perhaps putting a PVC pipe in the ground on either side of the road or attached to the nearby sign posts with a few flags inside for you to hold out/carry to the other side when you're crossing would be helpful?

Brent, we cross it about at least once a week.
