The weather warning DID NOT MENTION Sumner, Tacoma, Bonney Lake etc.. It did mention Admiralty Inlet, Carnation, up by the Lakes and NORTHERN KING COUNTY... Why did you say this local area? I've looked all over the television and the Internet and it DID NOT call for this horrible weather here in Bonney Lake or Sumner & South Prarie! This isn't the first time these scare tactics have been used. Here locally. I personally DO NOT appreciate it..And why print it if its not correct. I thank God it wasn't correct but i would imagine people spent their last dollars on items they did not need, this time. They should be prepared at all times, at least for say 72 hours! Not Happy w/ the Bogus Info Patch :(

Hi Jawbone, Our information is based on what the National Weather Service reports. When we published the information last night, we went through the NWS website and searched for all of the Patch towns in Pierce County. As a result, South Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Puyallup, Sumner and Puyallup all had high wind warning in effect until 4 p.m. today. Although the warning is no longer showing for these locations, we had no intention of posting bogus information.
