JBLM's Armed Forces Day Scheduled For May 19

The event - which is open to the general public - will feature historical military reenactments, military vehicle displays, carnival rides, live music and entertainment, climbing wall, 10K Volksmarch, and, of course, craft and food vendors.

If you like the military, you might want to mark May 19 on your calendars.

That's when Joint Base Lewis-McChord will open its doors to Gig Harbor and the rest of Puget Sound for its annual Armed Forces Day.

A whole host of events and features are planned, including historical military reenactments, military vehicle displays, carnival rides, live music and entertainment, climbing wall, 10K Volksmarch, and, of course, craft and food vendors.
