The Gig Harbor Canoe & Kayak Race Team will be in Seattle today to compete in the USA Canoe/Kayak Sprint National Championships.
The 3-day event, hosted by the Seattle Canoe and Kayak Club, takes place at the Green Lake Small Craft Center in North Seattle.
This is Head Coach Alan Anderson's 10th year taking his team to Nationals. Earlier this year, Anderson was . He was also selected to coach the U.S. team at Junior Worlds and Pan Am games.

The championships will determine the top 12 athletes who will advance to compete at the Olympic Hopes Regatta in Hungary in September.
