10th Annual Blessing of the Animals

Fox Island United Church of Christ, Neighbor

Each year we celebrate the gift of companion animals in our lives as they reflect the unconditional love of God.  This service is traditionally held in the month of October to honor the festival of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of the Animals.  Everyone is welcome to share in the raucous joy expressed by many voices, even if you do not have a pet!  Every pet is welcome whether they have fur, scales, feathers, or cloven hooves - goats and sheep especially welcome...

A reception will follow the service, as well as an individual blessing of each pet.  (FYI, we checked, and there is NO Seahawk game to prevent your attendance!)  See you there!
