Before the popularity of High School Musical and Glee – there was a captivating musical – HiTops. Visit a week in the life of a local high school – you meet the average group of high schoolers – jock, cheerleader, freshmen, spoiled rich kids and nerds. One thing they have in common is that the band that they love to listen to is the hottest band around -- HiTops. It’s a Friday night and the band is in town for a concert! We also meet 4 newcomers to the school – 3 angels and Luey – yeah, he’s who you think he is...You’ll laugh, you’ll cry at this high energy musical

Be prepared with a monologue & a short song to sing (a capella). Also, dress comfortably for dance auditions. Youth need to bring a parent/guardian with them for interview and auditions
Please call or email for APPOINTMENT – Rehearsals will be held in Gig Harbor. Rehearsals will begin in January. Performances will be at various churches in Tacoma, Gig Harbor, JBLM and Port Orchard during March and April.
What is a "discipleship workshop"? -- in addition to rehearsal of the play there will be sessions of devotions and Bible study, leadership training, general theatre music and dance classes and general technical theatre training. All members of the team will be responsible for learning technical theatre skills and promotion.
Financial commitment – Each member raises support as they would to participate in a mission trip. It enables us to offer the most reasonably priced community theatre in the Puget Sound area. Our ministry fundraises to keep the program affordable. We are giving discounts for early auditioners to help defray the costs of commuting. The costs are low – but the rewards and the experience is priceless.
