The 10th Annual Harbor Hounds Dog Walk benefits the Prison Pet Partnership, Coalition:HUMAnE Spay and Neuter Clinic and Rotary Club of Gig Harbor Midday. Enjoy a day of fun with family and your furry best friend! If you want to walk with your dog, you must register!
Every year, hundreds of people participate in Harbor Hounds with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. Participation is easy: simply register and arrive with your dog at check-in on September 15th, anytime between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the waterfront. As you walk, have your entry card stamped by event staff. At the end of the walk, turn in your card for a chance to win our drawing for great prizes! The walk will take place rain or shine. Day-of-event registration is also available! Contests and games will be held at 12:30pm at Donkey Creek Park.
This year, our contests will be “Beauty and Brains.” The “Beauty” portion will expand our fashion show to include different dog dress-up categories. The entrance fee will be $5.00. The “Brains” portion will be various fun categories of obedience demonstration (the entrance fee is also $5.00).
We have three registrations available for Harbor Hounds: Top Dog for $30, Standard Registration for $25, Hound Dog for $10 or you can order just a T-Shirt for $15. All registrations come with a doggy bandana and a take-home wag bag full of free goodies from our sponsors. You save $5.00 per registration by registering online before the event. Quantities of T-Shirts and other items will be limited on the day of the event so register today! We hope you and your friend will register and join us for a fun day at the 2012 Harbor Hounds Event!
