Knight Forest Project Community Rally

The Knight Forest project is at risk!

Come learn how a few minutes of your time can help protect critical state grants that support acquisition of key community lands for parks and recreation. The event will be at the Artondale Elementary School gym on Wednesday, March 16 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Our Park District is poised to receive a Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) grant supporting acquisition of the 19-acre Knight Forest property that adjoins Harbor Family Park site in the Artondale/Cromwell area. Unfortunately, the WWRP program is in danger of not being funded.

**Acquisition of Knight Forest will assure 38 acres of park land, protected forestland, trails, and recreation facilities. For Gig Harbor to benefit our legislators must fund this important program!**

Join the Rally to learn how you can help. Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition, Outreach Director, Tom Bugert, will share how you can make a difference!
