Best dining secret in Gig Harbor?

I'm wondering if the is the best kept dining secret in Gig Harbor? Tough to tell what makes something a secret or "under rated," but I'm going to place the tag on Marketplace Grille.

When people talk about waterfront dining in Gig Harbor, The Tides and Anthony's are the two names that usually come up, and for good reason. For my family, however, our choice is the Marketplace Grille.

Whenever I go, I order the Wild Salmon Salad. Perfectly grilled salmon, and a great mixture of fresh fruits over a bed of finely shredded lettuce. Sitting right next door to Anthony's, you get the same amazing view of Gig Harbor Bay and Mt. Rainier.

Last night, my family and I were the only ones in the dining room, and we got to watch the sailboat races through the bay while we enjoyed our dinner (my wife had a turkey and avocado sandwich and our daughter had the chicken strip meal). It was a perfect evening!  

In addition to the great food, reasonable prices, and fabulous view, the service is fantastic. I love locally owned and operated places, and the Marketplace Grille fits that bill.
